My 25-years journey in education encompasses a variety of talents. The studies in Accounting and Educational Administration provided the formal knowledge to support the operational aspect of school business. Serving as a senior accountant, Director of Purchasing, School Administrator, and Director of Human Resources allowed me to apply that knowledge in the successful implementation of several initiatives. To mention a few:

  • Systemic skills evidenced through the development and implementation of procedures, practices, organizational structure, and e-enabling support systems designed in the Purchasing and Professional Print and Mail Services departments.

  • Provide training and consultative support for all new administrators on all operational aspects of school-based management, including areas of budgeting, account management, purchasing, and human resource development, policy, and procedures. To that end, a major focus of my role as Special Assistant was to monitor spending patterns, ensure maximum finances and

  • Ensured qualified human resources are available in schools. Support a healthy working environment through personnel management, and monitoring compliance with employment regulations.

I am certified in NJ as a Qualified Purchasing Agent, School Administrator, School Business Administrator, and Affirmative Action Officer. I have been trained in all aspects of school business operations; specifically, as mandated by New Jersey Statutes-Title 18A and 6A.
