Our expertise is in Procurement, Accounting, Human Resources, and general Administration.  All processes and procedures are aligned with NJ State regulations and requirements.   Federal mandates are infused into the application of our services to ensure all funding source obligations are met.  Initiatives are great creations; implementation determines the degree of great success.  DES collaborates with administrators to track and complement the action plan.  

Today there is an overwhelming need for human resources to deliver a thorough and efficient education.  Educators dedicate long hours of service and sacrifice much, yet there is always still work to be done.  DES extends a helping hand and delivers superior educational services tailored to meet your organizational needs. 

Areas of Practice

Procurement Services

  • Support schools and other cost centers by assuring that appropriate quality goods and services are secured economically and delivered in a timely manner.

  • Ensure that procurement is aligned with NJ state standards, statutes, and district policies.   Utilize methods of quoting, conventional bidding, requests for proposals, specialized prequalification pooling, and established cooperatives.  

  • Developed collaboration processes with district department heads and redesigned the district procurement methods to strengthen compliance, reduce audit risk, and promote efficiency.  

  • Conducted procurement training for district staff, vendors, and advisory board members. Develop and produce all related literature and presentation materials.


Financial Operation Services

  • Effectively manage grant program account records in accordance with the approved budget.

  • Prepared financial reports required by funding agent(s).  

  • Provide support in ALL aspects of financial accounting.


Human Resource Services

  • Collaborate with leadership to provide expertise for the following Human Resource (HR) functions: recruitment, employee relations, compensation, and organizational development. 

  • Offer focused efforts on the development of talent within the organization including recruitment, hiring, and retention.

  • Develop procedures and processes for employee relations issues such as Affirmative Action matters, 504 Accommodations Request, and Workers Compensation administration.
